Customer Service Consultant – Contact Centre (Various Roles)

About the role

Hollywoodbets is hiring Customer Service Consultants for its Contact Centre in Umhlanga, Durban. The roles cover inbound, digital, deposit, withdrawal, outbound and phone‑betting functions, providing a seamless experience for customers across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and digital customer enquiries, ensuring timely resolution of queries and complaints.
• Assist clients with deposit and withdrawal requests, processing transactions and investigating EFT/Cash Send requests.
• Conduct outbound calls to reactivate inactive customers and convert leads from marketing campaigns.
• Provide betting support, including placing bets, cancellations, and addressing account enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and report on customer interactions and sales performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience for inbound/digital roles; up to 2 years contact‑centre or administration experience for deposit roles.
• Basic financial experience for withdrawal role and at least 3 months betting knowledge for phone‑betting role.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Diploma or degree is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Basic financial transaction handling.
• Betting knowledge (minimum 3 months).
• Familiarity with contact‑centre systems (e.g., SYX).
