Customer Relationship Officer – Sales Representative

About the role
We are looking for a Customer Relationship Officer to build and maintain strong relationships with large customers, bulk buyers and businesses in the Cornubia area. The role involves guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to order completion while delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers courteously, introduce yourself and provide product knowledge.
- Listen to customer needs, ask open‑ended questions and address queries or complaints.
- Process orders, follow up on investigations, and ensure customers are satisfied with outcomes.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of customer interactions, complaints and referrals.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals and community events.
- Conduct competitor price surveys and map target markets to generate leads.
- Report recurring product returns to the buyer and keep management informed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet personal and group productivity standards.
Required profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple customer interactions and prioritize tasks.
- Customer‑focused attitude with empathy and problem‑solving mindset.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy for handling orders and price comparisons.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using telephone directories, maps and basic office tools.
- Experience with cold calling and sales material preparation.
- Ability to conduct price surveys and market research.
