Creditors Manager

About the role

Absolute Pets, a fast‑growing pet‑care retailer, is seeking a Creditors Manager to lead its creditors team. You will ensure the accurate processing of supplier invoices, timely payments, and strong relationships with our suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee verification and processing of supplier invoices.
• Schedule and execute payments according to agreed terms.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date creditors ledger and reconcile service‑provider accounts.
• Resolve supplier queries and disputes promptly.
• Train and coach creditors clerks, ensuring compliance with processes.
• Manage the onboarding of new suppliers and monitor allocation lists.
• Review creditor reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Lead the team in meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets and manage attendance.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in creditors or accounts‑payable management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to coach staff and handle escalations.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
