Credit Supervisor

About the role

The Credit Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day credit control function, ensuring cash flow optimisation, minimising bad‑debt exposure and maintaining strong debtor relationships. This role supports the company’s financial objectives through effective collections and rigorous financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debtor accounts and achieve collections targets.
• Prepare accurate statements, reports, reconciliations and account analyses.
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate recovery actions.
• Supervise credit control administration and debtor processes.
• Investigate and resolve customer account queries.
• Perform age analysis and monitor outstanding balances.
• Oversee banking and receipt allocation processes.
• Prepare monthly reports and management information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
• Support continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Credit Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in credit control or debtors management.
• Supervisory experience within a finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of debtor management principles and financial controls.
• Experience in the FMCG sector is required.
