Creative and Engaged Cook – Full‑time Position

About the role

We are looking for a creative and engaged Cook to join our permanent full‑time team at Thon Hotel Bergen Airport. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment serving breakfast, lunch, à la carte, and banquet meals for our 248‑room hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet service.
• Plan and follow daily work distribution.
• Ensure quality control of all food production.
• Handle inventory management and stock control.
• Apply food safety (IK‑mat) standards.
• Interact with guests and contribute to reducing food waste.

Required profile

• Possession of a culinary certificate (fagbrev) or relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of IK‑mat (food safety) regulations.
• Motivated to create excellent food experiences.
• Flexible, solution‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Responsible, service‑focused and able to communicate in Norwegian and English.
