Country Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, tech‑savvy Country Marketing Manager to lead our brand presence and marketing initiatives across South Africa. You will translate our global brand promise into localized, high‑impact strategies that drive both physical retail and digital channel growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized marketing and go‑to‑market plans aligned with global roadmaps.
• Craft value propositions and messaging for consumers, creators and gaming audiences.
• Lead product launch execution, securing shelf space, PR coverage and commercial alignment.
• Own paid‑media strategy (search, social, programmatic) and drive performance marketing campaigns.
• Direct social‑media and content strategy to ensure hyper‑local relevance and engagement.
• Monitor campaign metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and agency dashboards, optimizing for ROAS.
• Collaborate with E‑commerce, product, sales and retail partners to deliver integrated co‑promotional plans.
• Manage in‑store branding, POS materials and retail training, and enhance digital presence on partner e‑tail platforms.
• Oversee PR, influencer and community initiatives to secure earned media.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset combined with creative storytelling ability.
• Deep understanding of South African retail and digital landscapes.
• Experience driving top‑of‑funnel brand awareness and mid‑funnel demand generation.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with product, sales and retail teams.
