Cost Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs and production variances.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor inventory movements and perform inventory reconciliations.
• Conduct cost allocation and product costing exercises.
• Support month‑end reporting and management accounts preparation.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting qualification.
• CIMA qualification or active study towards CIMA (non‑negotiable).
• 2–3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant.
• Previous manufacturing industry experience.
• Proven experience in product costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.

What we offer

• Annual salary range R 550,000 – R 650,000.
