Our client, a respected Sandton law firm, is seeking a Junior Associate to join their dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions team. Key responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys in M&A transactions, corporate restructures and commercial matters.
• Conduct legal research, prepare due diligence reports, and draft commercial agreements and transactional documents.
• Attend client consultations and negotiations, providing proactive legal support.
• Contribute to business development and strengthen client relationships.
• Stay abreast of corporate law, company regulations, and evolving market trends.

Required profile

• LLB degree and admitted attorney status in South Africa.
• 1‑2 years post‑articles experience in corporate commercial and/or M&A law at a reputable firm.
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Confident communicator, team player and detail‑oriented professional.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms.
