Cooker Operator

About the role
The Cooker Operator is responsible for running cooking and processing equipment in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate CCP equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Apply HACCP principles and maintain hygiene standards.
- Identify and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Report wastage, record downtime, and conduct routine equipment checks.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean and report any safety concerns.
- Document and communicate deviations to the supervisor.
Required profile
- Functional literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to understand process specifications, recipes, and interpret production data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.
- Team‑player with self‑motivation and personal discipline.
- Open to training and acquiring multi‑skill capabilities.
