Conveyancer, Legal Advisor and Company Secretary

About the role

Linked Thoughts Consulting is a property development company seeking a qualified Conveyancer, Legal Advisor and Company Secretary to support its legal department across multiple housing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bond escalations, loan origination services and maintain accurate filing of Offer to Purchase documents.
• Oversee conveyancing processes, ensuring deeds of sale are correctly drafted, signed and financial aspects are settled on time.
• Transcribe, proofread and coordinate legal documents, contracts and service provider agreements.
• Provide legal advice, handle queries from attorneys and manage litigation and corporate governance matters.
• Perform secretarial duties including minute taking, agenda preparation, committee calendar management and corporate governance training.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and ensure compliance with all statutory certificates.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Bachelor of Laws degree.
• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Admitted Conveyancer.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar legal/secretarial role.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and independent working capabilities.
