Contact Centre Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

As a Contact Centre Consultant in Discovery Health's Talent Pool, you will provide world‑class service to members, providers, employer groups and brokers. You will resolve queries primarily over the telephone while ensuring a customer‑centric experience that aligns with Discovery's service principles.

Key responsibilities

• Handle stakeholder enquiries via phone and other channels until fully resolved.
• Deliver service in a customer‑centric manner, adhering to service principles.
• Stay updated on product changes to provide accurate information.
• Maintain proficiency with digital servicing tools and ensure their effective use.
• Achieve and exceed performance metrics related to service delivery.

Required profile

• Matric with Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy or Accounting (minimum 50%) and English (minimum 50%), or an equivalent post‑matric qualification.
• At least 12 months of experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Basic MS Office skills and PC literacy.
• Strong verbal and written communication, administration and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑centric and empathetic attitude.
