Consultant – Smart Supply Chains (VSC)

About the role

The Consultant will lead new customer implementations while retaining and strengthening the existing customer base, ensuring clients achieve optimal value from the technology in their operating environments. The role involves proactive project and resource management, software implementation, and service contract oversight for both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Distribution planners and Expeditors, overseeing job activities, outputs, and administration.
• Deliver high‑quality strategic exercises such as fleet mix, service‑day assignment, and customer‑to‑DC allocation.
• Generate and implement new ideas for existing customers.
• Project‑manage and implement software solutions and managed services.
• Ensure the value proposition is realised after implementation.
• Handle administrative duties: timely expense claims, billable hour tracking, and leave approvals.
• Drive progress meetings with clients.
• Liaise with technical, business analysis, and operational teams to conceptualise, specify, and test software features.
• Resolve escalated issues raised by customers, distribution planners, and expeditors.

Required profile

• Logistics/Transport or Supply Chain degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the Logistics/Supply Chain industry.
