Construction Foreman

About the role

Puno Harvest is seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead a major road construction project in Gauteng, covering stormwater, sewer, and water pipeline works.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day construction operations on site.
• Supervise and coordinate teams working on road, stormwater, sewer, and water pipeline installations.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress, quality, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site challenges.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture on site.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in road construction, stormwater, sewer, and water pipeline projects.
• Strong technical understanding of civil construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work on‑site.
• Hands‑on, proactive leader with high attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
