About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting a commissioned Financial Adviser to serve clients in the Westville, Chatsworth, Pinetown, Durban, Umlazi and surrounding areas. The adviser champions customers' lifetime goals by identifying their financial needs, giving sound financial advice and recommending and implementing fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. The role works mainly on own leads.

Key responsibilities

Procure new business
Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
Identify financial needs and provide sound financial advice
Recommend and implement fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions

Required profile

NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
Self-motivated, dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit

Required skills

Sales software and sales data management
Consultative selling, direct selling and strategic selling
Qualifying prospects, probing questions and customer understanding
Building trust and strengthening customer relationships
