Commissioned Financial Adviser – Upington

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a self‑motivated Commissioned Financial Adviser to join its Upington team. You will help customers achieve their long‑term financial goals by identifying needs, providing sound advice, and delivering tailored financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customers' financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide consultative financial advice and implement fit‑for‑purpose plans.
• Procure new business and expand sales of existing products and services.
• Manage your own leads and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
• Ability to work independently and build trust with clients.

Required skills

• Consultative selling and direct selling.
• Customer‑focused service and relationship management.
• Sales data management and use of sales software.
• Strong oral communication and probing questioning.
