Commercial Sales Representative – Bloemfontein

About the role

The Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth across a defined geographic area, focusing on both existing and new customers. The role aims to expand the product basket, optimise gross profit and increase market share for the company’s tile and building‑material portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the customer base within assigned market segments.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maximise gross profit.
• Identify and source new leads within the geographical boundaries.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Grow the product basket and optimise gross profit margins.
• Maintain expenses within set budgets and guidelines.
• Coordinate with the sales support team to ensure timely and complete order delivery.
• Uphold health, safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to an inclusive and healthy work environment.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent; a Diploma in Sales/Marketing is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of external sales experience in the coverings or building‑material industry.
• Currently based in the Free State (Bloemfontein area preferred).
• Valid EB driver’s licence.
