Commercial Sales Executive – Gauteng

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Commercial Sales Executive to lead our sales activities in the Gauteng region. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, building strategic customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial sales strategies to meet regional targets and increase market share.
• Manage and grow relationships with key retail, wholesale and independent customers.
• Identify, negotiate and secure new business opportunities, pricing, trading terms and promotional agreements.
• Analyse sales performance, customer profitability and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure seamless customer service and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• At least 10 years of commercial sales experience in FMCG, consumer goods or food manufacturing.
• Proven track record in managing key retail and wholesale accounts.
• Strong commercial, financial and analytical acumen.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Gauteng.
