Commercial Sales Agent (Tied-23)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commercial Sales Agent (Tied-23) to drive medium‑sized sales targets across the region. You will combine specialist knowledge with strategic account development to grow existing customer relationships and support the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse primary data to identify market trends and key themes.
• Provide specialist business advice on policies, procedures and complex queries.
• Prepare and edit documents in line with organisational style guidelines for publication.
• Produce data and analytics reports, coordinating insights for internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for existing accounts, gathering feedback and recommending improvements.
• Deliver financial advice aligned with client goals within a defined segment.
• Sell simple products and services directly to customers while supporting the sales team.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulatory codes.
• Continuously develop personal capabilities through training, accreditation and industry research.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account development, preferably in financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal reporting.
