Commercial and Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Commercial and Sales Coordinator will support the Bill Payments category by coordinating sales operations, managing tender submissions and ensuring smooth stakeholder interactions. Reporting to the Head of Category, the role contributes to revenue growth and operational efficiency in a hybrid work environment based in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Category in developing and executing commercial strategies, pricing and sales plans.
• Coordinate municipal tender submissions, including preparation, packaging and delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date databases for tenders, pricing, product listings and municipal information.
• Support sales documentation, pricing updates and customer agreements in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Handle client queries, integration requests and invoicing management, ensuring accurate monthly reports.
• Provide data analysis, reporting and performance tracking across sales channels.
• Facilitate go‑live processes for new billers/products, managing data gathering and testing schedules.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on supporting commercial objectives.
