Coffee Equipment Technician – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Coffee Equipment Technician to join our Cape Town team. The role involves installing, calibrating and maintaining coffee machines and related equipment for our hospitality and retail customers. You will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while providing high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on coffee machines and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical faults, replace parts as needed.
• Respond to service calls and schedule visits to customer sites in the Cape Town area.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Advise customers on proper equipment use, care and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably with coffee machines or similar beverage equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and service documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally to customer sites.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Relevant technical certification or training in mechanics, electrical work or appliance servicing is a plus.
• Prior experience in the coffee, hospitality or beverage distribution sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
