Cloud Architect – AWS Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to act as a strategic advisor and AWS consultant for enterprise clients. The role involves guiding customers through cloud adoption, migration, and modernization while designing secure, scalable, and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice on AWS strategy, architecture, and best practices to client leadership and technical teams.
• Lead cloud assessments, readiness evaluations, and roadmap development for AWS adoption and optimization.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost‑effective AWS architectures for new workloads, migrations, and hybrid environments.
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives, including application modernization, re‑platforming, and re‑hosting.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution integrity.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance tuning for AWS workloads.
• Support business case development, TCO analysis, and cloud cost‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 3–5 years in AWS cloud architecture and consulting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with senior and executive leadership, preferably in Banking, Financial Services or Insurance.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Server migration using AWS MGN, Migration Hub, DMS (500+ servers migrated).
• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS Well‑Architected Framework, AWS CAF, and security/compliance standards.
