About the role
The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is offering an entry‑level Cloud Administrator Learnership (NQF Level 4) for 2026/2027. This programme provides hands‑on experience in cloud management without requiring prior work experience or a university degree.
Key responsibilities
- Implementing cloud management services.
- Monitoring cloud computing environments.
- Supporting cloud users and computing resources.
- Maintaining cloud performance.
- Managing and monitoring servers and networks.
- Supporting data storage and cloud services.
- Troubleshooting technical problems.
- Applying cloud security controls.
- Protecting systems against unauthorised access and security threats.
Required profile
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4) qualification.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Unemployed South African citizen.
- Basic computer literacy.
- No prior work experience required.
