Clinical Project Manager - Oncology

About the role

IQVIA Biotech is looking for a Clinical Project Manager (Project Lead) in oncology. Project Leads work with clinical teams to deliver clinical studies faster and meet contractual requirements, running their own studies and driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in bid defense presentations with Business Development and may lead them for smaller, less complex regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team and set objectives for the team and sub-teams.
• Accountable for executing clinical studies to contract, optimising speed, quality and cost, and ensuring compliance with standard processes.
• Monitor progress against contract, manage risk and contingencies, and lead problem solving.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Manage change control, forecast opportunities to accelerate revenue, and identify lessons learned.
• Serve as primary or backup project contact with the customer, and may manage vendor relationships.
• Build and lead the cross-functional project team, support staff development and mentor less experienced members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• 5 years of prior relevant experience, including more than 1 year of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of clinical trial conduct and of ICH GCP and relevant local laws, regulations and guidelines.
