Clinical Program Coordinator (PN-A5)

About the role

The Free State Department of Health is recruiting a Clinical Program Coordinator (PN-A5) in the Free State. The role focuses on maintaining harmonious working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective patient care and managing the Centre of Excellence's human and material resources in line with directives and legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constructive and harmonious working relationships with colleagues, the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the provision of effective and efficient patient care.
• Manage and use Centre of Excellence resources (human and material) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
• Ensure the implementation of Batho Pele principles in the unit.
• Support training and research in the unit.
• Compile monthly reports on time.

Required profile

• Matric, plus a Diploma or Degree in Nursing (NQF 6/7) recognised by SAQA, allowing registration with the SANC as a General Nurse and Midwife.
• A minimum of 7 years of appropriate experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a General Nurse.
• Current SANC registration for 2025/2026 as a General Nurse and Midwife.

Required skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including counselling and conflict management.
• Problem-solving skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to advocate for patients and facilitate proper treatment and care.
• Good understanding of HIV/AIDS, DS TB and DR TB management, treatment policies and guidelines, and their implementation.

• Salary of R 549 192 to R 629 121 plus a 13th cheque.
