Clinical Facilitator – Training & Development

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator will lead the training and development of nursing staff, ensuring the seamless integration of theoretical knowledge with hands‑on clinical practice. Working within a health‑focused organization, you will support the creation of healing environments by delivering high‑quality educational programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, schedule and coordinate training and development calendars for clinical staff.
• Facilitate marking of case studies and assignments, maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Lead research and development activities to generate new knowledge and improve products, processes and services for the academic market.
• Oversee academic‑related projects, ensuring active involvement throughout their lifecycle.
• Apply adult learning methodologies to enhance the clinical learning process.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification (B. Cur Degree or equivalent).
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Compliance with SANC code and applicable health‑care legislation.
• Training, assessor and moderator certification registered with SANC (non‑negotiable).
• Clinical expertise within your specialty.

Required skills

• BLS instructor certification.
• Advanced computer literacy.
