Clinical Facilitator – Potchefstroom

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for coordinating the clinical training and development of nursing students, ensuring the integration of theory and practice in a clinical environment. This role supports learning through adult‑learning methodologies and maintains high standards of patient care and education.

Key responsibilities

• Active involvement in research and development to generate new knowledge about products, processes, and services, applying findings to meet academic market needs.
• Plan, draw and coordinate training and development calendars.
• Facilitate the marking of case studies and assignments.
• Maintain accurate employee clinical records.
• Organise and ensure active involvement in all academic‑related projects.
• Facilitate the clinical learning process using adult learning methodologies.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification (B Cur Degree or equivalent).
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Compliance with SANC code and applicable health‑care legislation.
• Assessor and Moderator training.
• BLS instructor certification.
• Clinical expertise in your specialty; ICU qualification or experience is an advantage.
