Clinical Admissions Coordinator – Remote (EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a Clinical Admissions Coordinator to join the centralized admissions team of a US‑based skilled nursing facility group. Working remotely from South Africa, you will support the intake of patient referrals, ensure they meet admission criteria and help convert accepted referrals into completed admissions.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming patient referrals and assess them against facility admission criteria.
• Process referrals promptly, meeting defined turnaround times.
• Complete back‑end admission tasks after clinical approval, including insurance verification, medication reviews and authorization processing.
• Compile all required documentation into admission packets and upload them into the CRM system.
• Liaise with US‑based teams to resolve queries and keep referrals moving without delay.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM.
• Support daily admission conversions while adhering to shift schedules.

Required profile

• Previous admissions experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong background in healthcare administration or clinical support.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts covering US EST hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable fixed‑fibre internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and backup power solution.
• Ability to work fully remotely.
