Clinic Sister – Primary Healthcare Nurse

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Clinic Sister to lead the in‑pharmacy clinic at Nu Pharmacy in Cavendish, Claremont. The role involves delivering high‑quality primary healthcare, patient education and preventive wellness services to our community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
• Conduct health screenings, immunisations, family planning and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Promote health education and preventative care within the community.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure integrated patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and treatment abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and at least one additional South African language.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Professional, caring attitude with a commitment to ethical practice.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with sound administrative and record‑keeping abilities.
