Client Services Administrator

About the role

The Client Services Administrator will support the insurance team in Mthatha by delivering high‑quality service to policyholders. The role combines front‑office client interaction with back‑office administration of claims, policy changes and demutualisation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and walk‑in clients, providing accurate advice on insurance products and services.
• Process policy amendments, cancellations, loan applications and financial enquiries in line with company procedures.
• Verify and submit claim documents, maintain the claims register and assist clients with claim forms.
• Manage the demutualisation process, capture client information and update AIMS systems.
• Escalate and resolve complaints according to the complaints handling procedure.
• Maintain client records, filing systems and ensure compliance with FAIS and FSB regulations.
• Prepare statistical reports, manage mail/fax and support data‑capture activities.
• Encourage clients to complete satisfaction surveys.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; recognised FSB qualification or registration as an Employee Representative (FSB).
• Minimum 2 years experience in the insurance industry and at least 1 year in client services.
• Knowledge of insurance legislation and products.
