Client Service Consultant – Operations (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Client Service Consultant – Operations is responsible for accurately capturing investment‑related instructions from a range of stakeholders and ensuring they are processed in line with Glacier’s high standards of quality and service.

Key responsibilities

• Verify instructions received from stakeholders and ensure compliance with business rules and legal regulations.
• Liaise with intermediaries, clients and broker consultants to obtain missing information or clarify instructions.
• Update stakeholders on progress via phone, fax or email and keep the workflow system current.
• Capture all valid instructions promptly and accurately in the processing system.
• Report suspicious activities and service failures to the appropriate departments.
• Complete mandatory training, pass product and process assessments, and maintain technical knowledge of Glacier’s offerings.
• Collaborate with Compliance/Legal on complex FICA and business requirements.
• Support brand protection by building strong client relationships and working with internal teams to improve processes.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks such as client‑service projects, query resolution and operational assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 (mandatory); tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
• Minimum three years of administrative experience; 1‑2 years of experience in a linked investment service provider role is a plus.
