About the role
The Department of Health is recruiting ten cleaners for Sebokeng Hospital. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all hospital areas, working in various shifts including nights.
Key responsibilities
- Clean wards, floors, offices, corridors, boardrooms, windows, doors, benches, and patient lockers.
- Maintain kitchens, fridges, toilets, bathrooms, and handle excessive dusting.
- Collect and return food trolleys, wash and preserve kitchen utensils.
- Replace lavatory paper, hand towels and refreshers.
- Clean machines and equipment after use and request cleaning materials as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to read and write.
- Experience in a hospital environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts.
