Civil 3D Draughtsman – Wet Services & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking experienced Civil Draughtsmen or Civil 3D Modellers to join our team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role focuses on designing wet services and civil infrastructure, including stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for stormwater, sewer and water reticulation systems.
• Create pressure pipeline and pipe network layouts.
• Model bulk earthworks, grading and surface profiles.
• Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate on BIM and multidisciplinary coordination tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure design.
• National Diploma, Diploma, Certificate or ongoing studies in Civil Engineering, Civil Draughting or a related field.
• Civil 3D certification and a valid driver’s licence are advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience using Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and produce precise drawings.
