CIMA Audit Trainee (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for motivated candidates who want to complete their CIMA qualifications while gaining practical experience in an auditing environment. The position is based in Pretoria and starts immediately for 2026 or in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of client financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support audit and assurance engagements, following established auditing procedures.
• Conduct basic financial analysis, identify trends and provide recommendations under supervision.
• Help prepare and review tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax legislation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and ensure compliance with SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA and ISA standards.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, assisting in explaining audit findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with senior auditors and team members on various client projects.

Required profile

• No prior experience required.
• Currently studying or completed a BCom in finance or accounting.
