About the role
The Limpopo Department of Social Development is seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Care Worker for the Polokwane Welfare Complex. This entry‑level position involves providing daily care and developmental support to children admitted to the centre.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and orientate children admitted to the centre
- Provide daily care and development activities
- Organise family visits and escort children to services
- Assist with developmental programmes and administrative tasks
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Basic qualification in Child Care
- Current SACSSP registration as an auxiliary child and youth care worker
