Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the senior finance leader of the Group, overseeing all financial activities across the company and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO provides strategic financial insight, ensures accurate reporting, and drives the organisation’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting teams, set clear vision, and manage performance, training and development.
• Direct preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, tax returns and regulatory reports.
• Analyse cash flow, investment strategies, risk exposure and capital structure to support growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to shape strategic planning, budgeting and long‑term financial modelling.
• Identify process improvements, implement lean technologies and oversee finance IT systems to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Honours degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA(SA) qualification; MBA is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of senior financial management experience, including previous CFO or finance director roles.
• Deep knowledge of accounting, taxation, corporate finance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
