Chief Finance Officer – Innovation Hub

About the role

The Innovation Hub Management Company (TIHMC) seeks a senior finance leader to develop and execute its financial strategy, provide strategic insights, and ensure robust financial governance across the subsidiary.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with subsidiary goals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and manage performance reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, liquidity and solvency assessments.
• Ensure compliance with PFMA, Companies Act, tax legislation and internal policies.
• Manage audit processes, resolve audit queries and maintain relationships with auditors.
• Safeguard state‑owned assets, maintain the asset register and insurance coverage.
• Lead cash‑flow management, payroll monitoring and financial risk management.
• Provide advisory support to the CEO and Board on financial governance and control.

Required profile

• Qualified CA, B.Compt Hons, B.Com with CTA, or equivalent (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA).
• Minimum 10 years of commercial finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• At least 6 years senior management experience in a PFMA‑governed environment.
• Membership with SAICA is an advantage.
