About the role
A leading Wellness & Rehabilitation Facility in White River, Mpumalanga is seeking a passionate Chef to prepare nutritious meals for residents and staff while supporting the overall health‑focused mission of the centre.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook balanced, nutritious meals for residents and staff.
- Plan menus and adapt them to special dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.
- Manage stock, place orders and control food costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and safe.
- Collaborate effectively with the hospitality and management teams.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant culinary qualification (advantageous).
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef.
- Experience in hotel, lodge, healthcare or hospitality settings (advantageous).
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Residence in or around White River.
