CCTV Controller / Stock Loss Investigator

About the role

Our client in Johannesburg is looking for two detail‑oriented CCTV Controllers / Stock Loss Investigators. You will examine shipment shortages, damages, returns and other stock discrepancies within a logistics and warehouse environment, using CCTV footage and operational records to uncover the facts.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate shipment shortages, overages, damages, returns, credits and suspected stock losses.
• Review operational documentation and CCTV footage to verify stock movements and identify process failures.
• Compile clear, evidence‑based investigation reports and maintain investigation registers.
• Save relevant CCTV clips, screenshots and supporting documents for case files.
• Escalate suspected theft, fraud, misconduct or control weaknesses to supervisors.
• Meet investigation turnaround times and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) qualification.
• Valid PSIRA Grade C or higher.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in CCTV operations, investigations, logistics, warehousing or stock‑loss prevention.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
