Casual Frontshop Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Casual Frontshop Assistant to join our Irene Village store in Centurion. You will ensure the shop floor is well‑stocked, tidy and welcoming, supporting customers and maintaining merchandising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Restock merchandise promptly to maximise sales and maintain full product ranges on shelves.
• Store and organise incoming stock, applying FIFO principles and monitoring sell‑by dates.
• Rotate stock regularly and report low, damaged or expired items to management.
• Maintain accurate labeling and pricing, and flag any discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle counts, stocktaking and general inventory control.
• Keep the storeroom and shop floor clean, organised and presentable.
• Provide friendly, courteous assistance and advice to customers, handling out‑of‑stock queries efficiently.
• Support loading and off‑loading of deliveries and back‑shopping when required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 0–6 months retail experience (advantageous: 1 year).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
