About the role

Dis-Chem is recruiting a Casual Frontshop Assistant on a fixed-term basis at its Culemborg pharmacy in Cape Town CBD. The minimum retail experience required is 0-6 months; one year's experience and a retail business-management certification are advantageous. Remuneration is described as market-related.

Key responsibilities

Replenish shelves, check expiry dates, prices and displays
Organise stockrooms
Process payments, loyalty cards and authorised returns
Follow cash-drop controls
Assist with stock counts and loading and offloading
Report losses and damaged stock
Provide customer service and maintain housekeeping

Required profile

Matric or Senior Certificate
0-6 months' retail experience
Available to work retail hours
South African citizenship
Clear criminal record and credit rating
Driver's licence and own reliable transport

Required skills

Basic arithmetic and customer communication
Basic computer skills; SAP is advantageous
