About the role
Dis‑Chem Pharmacies is seeking a casual cashier for its Nelspruit store to handle customer transactions, maintain front‑shop standards, and provide excellent service on a part‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and point‑of‑sale systems accurately and securely.
- Process cash, card, and account transactions while managing correct floats.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and assist with front‑shop duties as required.
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 (Matric) and be South African citizens. The role is casual with flexible shifts to accommodate availability. The application process requires completing personal details, uploading a CV and profile photo, attaching identification documents, providing work history and education, and answering a screening questionnaire covering matric completion, cashier experience, salary expectations, residential location, and proximity to Dis‑Chem stores.
