About the role
Mambos Storage & Home is hiring a permanent flexi cashier and shop assistant in Pretoria. The role covers operating registers, replenishing shelves and helping retail customers. The advertised salary is R75,000 to R80,000 per year.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and follow cash-control policies
- Assist customers and provide exceptional service
- Clean the store and stock shelves and displays
- Report inventory losses, scanning errors and product issues
- Take part in stock counts
- Follow merchandising planograms and safety procedures
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification; entry-level
- Prior retail experience preferred; customer-facing retail or FMCG experience desirable
- Prompt and courteous customer service
- Communication, teamwork and time-management skills
