Cashier – Retail Store in Crown Mines, Johannesburg

About the role
We are a retail store in Crown Mines, Johannesburg, offering a range of homeware, accessories, stationery and makeup. We are looking for a Cashier to join our team and support the Store Manager by handling the in‑store checkout process.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, credit and card transactions accurately.
- Scan items, issue receipts, give change and handle refunds.
- Count cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Bag items carefully and process returns, checking for damage.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide product information.
Required profile
- Clear criminal record.
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum three years experience as a cashier, preferably in retail.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends.
- Honest, reliable and customer‑centric.
- Capable of working under pressure with attention to detail.

What we offer
- Hourly wage of R33.44.
