About the role
SBV Services is offering a 12‑month Cash Processor contract combined with a National Certificate in Banking. Learners will work at the Gqeberha centre, handling cash deposits, sorting notes, and reconciling daily transactions under standard procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and record bank deposits using SBV systems.
- Prepare, sort and count bank notes, checking rejected notes for counterfeit or damage.
- Process coin deposits, payroll and change orders.
- Balance and reconcile cash at the end of each day and report any shortages, surpluses or equipment faults.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Age between 18 and 29 and South African citizen.
- Must not have previously completed the National Certificate: Banking.
- High accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash.
