About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. The role focuses on helping individuals maintain independence while receiving assistance with daily activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing.
- Prepare meals and support shopping needs.
- Prompt clients with medication schedules.
- Provide routine support, including morning and evening care.
- Offer respite services to give families a break.
- Encourage socialising, leisure activities, and community participation.
Required profile
- Respectful of client dignity and privacy.
- Willingness to travel to client homes.
- Ability to follow care plans and support independence.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
