Call Centre Agent – High‑Volume Outbound Sales

About the role

Career Start is seeking four energetic, results‑driven Call Centre Agents to join its fast‑paced internal team in Cape Town. The position focuses on high‑volume outbound sales and service, acting as a frontline brand ambassador to engage candidates, maximise outreach, and drive conversion metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Execute 80–100 targeted outbound calls daily to prospective candidates and leads.
• Qualify and nurture leads through initial pre‑screenings and guide high‑potential talent through the recruitment funnel.
• Maintain 100 % accurate, real‑time records of all interactions, outcomes and next steps in the central CRM system.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly KPIs related to call duration, contact rates and conversion targets.
• Handle all inbound inquiries with a polished, authoritative demeanor to uphold the brand’s world‑class standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an outbound call‑centre, telemarketing or telesales environment with a track record of closing or converting.
• Strong market awareness of the Cape Town call‑centre and customer‑service vacancy landscape.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, high‑energy tone.
• Resilient, self‑directed and highly motivated to maintain performance during intensive calling campaigns.
