Call Centre Agent Combined Sales

About the role

As a Call Centre Agent Combined Sales you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, delivering a professional, needs‑based sales experience over the phone. You will work with both warm and cold leads, quickly building trust, identifying needs and matching them with Dis‑Chem Life products.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Dis‑Chem Life products to customers via inbound and outbound calls.
• Build rapport, uncover customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Handle objections effectively and close sales with confidence.
• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
• Ensure compliance with all sales, regulatory and company processes.
• Represent Dis‑Chem Life with a customer‑first focus at all times.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
• 1–2 years experience in a call‑centre sales environment (life insurance experience advantageous).
• Proven sales track record with consistent KPI achievement.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
• Availability to work weekends when required.
• Reliable transport to the office.
• RE5 and COB certifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong telephone sales and closing ability.
• Proficiency in handling objections and converting leads.
• Computer literacy and experience with CRM systems.
• Ability to work with both warm and cold lead lists.
