Call Center Collections Agent – Century City

About the role

The role involves contacting customers with outstanding balances to help them resolve debt, prevent further arrears and ensure sustainable repayment actions. You will work both inbound and outbound, using a telephone dialler and written communication.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers by phone and in writing, handling inbound and outbound calls.
• Apply debt‑collection techniques, negotiate settlements and meet agreed collection targets.
• Address customer and internal queries within SLA, finding resolutions that minimise bad‑debt write‑offs.
• Maintain accurate customer records, update system information and identify gaps.
• Manage complaints and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• 6‑12 months experience in debt collection, preferably with international clients.
• High proficiency in verbal and written English (neutral accent preferred).
• Strong customer‑orientation in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent administrative follow‑through after customer contact.
