About the role
The Business Unit Coordinator supports the production team by ensuring smooth material flow, accurate data handling and compliance with health and safety standards on the factory floor.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Safety Representatives and HSE Coordinator to maintain health & safety compliance.
- Assist the Material Controller in monitoring finished goods movement.
- Conduct weekly stock takes of finished goods and consumables.
- Manage raw material data reconciliation and capture.
- Update daily efficiency schedules and weekly production and wage schedules.
- Perform general administrative tasks for the Production Team Leader and executives.
- Maintain registers of NCQR and CFAR for trend analysis.
- Follow up on DRM actions and trial/ISIR requests.
- Respond to staff and general queries.
Required profile
- Degree preferred (BCom Supply Chain or BBA); Grade 12 Maths or Accountancy essential.
- Minimum three years experience in manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment.
- Hands‑on, robust personality with ability to work early or late as needed.
- Highly organized and flexible to multiple daily changes.
- Customer‑focused mindset and willingness to work on the production floor.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong computer skills for data handling.
