Business Manager - Business Banking, Rental Finance or Payment Services

About the role

Capitec is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Business Manager to work in Business Banking, Rental Finance or Payment Services. The role aims to achieve agreed monthly sales targets through an established supplier and business partner network, grow the supplier portfolio with specialised product solutions and contribute to the profitability of the function.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed monthly sales targets in value and number of applications through a supplier / business partner network
• Grow the supplier portfolio by implementing value-adding and specialised product solutions and maintaining service delivery standards with suppliers and partners
• Promote and sell products to new and existing clients to contribute to overall profitability

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management / Business Administration or Financial Risk Management (FRM); preferred: Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in Business Banking, Rental Finance or Payment Services, managing a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus
• Ideal: 1-2 years of managerial / leadership experience and 1-2 years managing a small business centre
• Clear criminal and credit record; valid driver's licence and own vehicle; willingness to travel nationally

Required skills

• CRM principles and ability to use CRM insights to shape client management strategy
• Understanding of legal entities in the commercial market and FAIS and FICA
• Rental finance, payment services and discounting processes
• MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Analytical, decision-making, negotiation and communication skills
